So the darker color of this orange hides because of how the velvet lays so the appearance of the curtain is much lighter. I still like them but I thought it was important to tell you the effect of the fabric lightening. I think what happened is the fabric was turned upside down then made into the curtain, so the appearance of the velvet is the underside. Hard to explain. View photo for reference. You will see the second to last photo is of the cuff where the fabric was folded under then sewed on the back. Because the fabric was turned upside down that is the color I wished for and is the color shown online. The last photo is of me turning the whole curtain upside down and it’s obvious it’s much darker with the velvet effect turned that way. The darker color would have been better and is what is advertised if curtain was made properly, these people probably have no idea what they did and no telling how many were made this way, but I hate returning things so I will keep them.
