I had to trim it down to fit on my roller. But my water temp is almost to hot. It also keeps the water from evaporating to fastTitle says it - arrived as described, easy to cut to size pool, and pool temp went up 5 degrees over normal. Great for saving water in our current drought.Applied to my 12x24 above ground pool and within two weeks the pool went from 72 -89 degrees. Key is to leave it on when not in use. Last year the highest it got was 82 and that was in the hottest part of the summer. We have an above ground pool that came with a cover with holes (I assume to avoid rain water accumulation). It is difficult to use, debris on top seeps through the holes and is generally left off in the summer because it's so difficult to get on and off. This cover changed all that. Easy to get on and off (light enough for one person to manage), keeps water warm and pool clean. We don't get summer rain so it's not a problem with water on top of it and left it big so it hangs over the sides keeping debris out. We place it with the bubbles down (not recommended) but that way I can blow off any top debris quickly before removing. Bought 4 large spring clamps on Amazon that hold it in place (can get windy here). Should have bought it 2 years ago. Thinking I may leave it on in the winter too and buy a little sump pump to lay on top to remove rain water. This pool cover is PERFECT for our needs. Here it is early November and my pool is still 84 degrees and beautifully clean and clear. The material is easy to cut to exact size and arrives in an easy to maneuver box that is not to heavy for one man to move. I am VERY pleased.I bought this blanket because it is 12mm and not the standard 10, assuming that it would last longer than the 2 to 3 years the thinner ones do. So wrong! After less than 1 year the 2 layers of the blanket are separating resulting in large bubbles, some of which are more than 8 INCHES wide. This makes the already difficult to roll up cover (because of it’s thickness) even more difficult.Other problems. I live in California and I realize that it's too good an insulator for my area and I have trouble keeping the pool temperature from exceeding 87 degrees (the temperature at which algae growth really takes off), and the cover has a flat, 1 inch or so wide, border which unless handled gently, will rip off.easy much less evaporation and the water is much warmerThis is easy to take off and put on by yourself and it really works my pool was 90° in a couple days of having it on no need for a pool heater anymore ????
