The VE.Direct TX digital output cable can be used in combination with the BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers.
It supports the following applications:
- Solar lighting applications
- Virtual load output
Lighting Applications:
The digital output cable is specifically designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. By incorporating a PWM light dimming function, it allows for reduced energy consumption as needed. This not only leads to lower overall system costs, but also increases the availability of lighting, even when the battery is partially charged in low sunlight conditions.
The VE.Direct TX output cable enables connection between a MPPT charger's TX output and a LED driver's PWM dimmer input.
Vicrtual Load Output:
This cable enables the addition of load output capabilities to larger MPPT chargers (MPPT 100/30 and up) without an existing load output. It connects the VE.Direct TX output of an MPPT charger to a battery protect or solid state relay for switching a load on/off.
